Chapter Membership – Open to initiated Sorors seeking an active, engaged graduate chapter home dedicated to Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood.
Amicae Auxiliary – For women who have not been initiated into a sorority but share our values and desire to serve alongside us in advancing community programs and initiatives.
Finer Footprint Initiatives – Opportunities for community partners, supporters, and volunteers to join us in projects that promote social justice, environmental stewardship, and community uplift.

How to Become

a Member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated

Although membership in Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, is by invitation only, we encourage interested women with a track record of community service and currently pursuing a baccalaureate degree or in possession of a baccalaureate degree to contact a chapter in your local area for more information. The required way to show formal interest in membership is attending an Informational Interest Meeting hosted by Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. You are welcome to bring a resume. Attendance at the Informational Interest Meeting does not guarantee that an invitation to membership will be extended.

It is expected that individuals who are invited to membership in Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, have demonstrated a commitment to scholarship, service, sisterhood, and finer womanhood. If you are considering membership, we encourage you to become familiar with Zeta’s Policy Against Hazing. You are never required to participate in hazing activities to become a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. In fact, members of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated and women who are interested in membership are prohibited from engaging in conduct that violates the Policy Against Hazing.

Purpose of the Amicae Auxiliary:

The Zeta Amicae is a group of women organized as an Auxiliary under the guidelines of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated and are affiliated through local Zeta chapters. The purpose of Zeta Amicae is to lend assistance to Zeta activities, to promote good public relations among Zetas and other women in the community, to make women who are not affiliated with a Greek letter organization feel closer to the programs of a Greek group, and to assure more cooperation in community affairs sponsored by Zetas.
